One of the benefits our chapter enjoys is the strong support of our alumni. Much of that support comes through mentorship and guidance, particularly for the chapter’s elected officers. Each officer is paired with an alumnus who serves as an advisor in his area of responsibility, providing experience, perspective, and support throughout the year.
Several weeks before the start of the Fall 2026 semester, the chapter’s officers gathered at the offices of local alumnus Mike Der Manouel. They were joined by six alumni in person and four more who participated by Zoom from Oregon, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
Each officer presented his plans, priorities, and budget for the semester to the group for review and discussion. Together, the undergraduates and alumni worked through budgets, established important dates, discussed goals and expectations, and addressed the many details that go into preparing for a successful semester and year.
Alumni support takes many forms, but few are more valuable than the time, experience, and mentorship of brothers who remain committed to the success of Lambda Chi Alpha at Fresno.
That is what alumni support looks like at Iota-Gamma. It is not simply financial support. It is alumni investing their time and experience—and taking a seat at the table before the semester even begins.
